The Seashell international hostel welcomes you with island inspired charm, inviting deals, and rates to suit your budget. Whether you are indulging in a long holiday or just a Key West weekend getaway, come experience authentic Old Town Key West at the Seashell Motel and Youth Hostel. We offer newly renovated hostel rooms that contain up to ten single beds, air-conditioning, cable TV in courtyard area, bathroom with shower. The hostel guests can take advantage of our kitchen area consisting of a grill, toaster, microwave, coffee maker and a large refrigerator that will be available to our guest 24 hours a day. We also offer coin-operated laundry facility and lockers. Free limited parking and free wireless internet are also available as well as daily housekeeping. Use of Guest Locker Facilities. Onsite bicycle rental available (first come first serve basis).
Our downtown location is just 3 blocks from the beach and also Duval Street, where you can find world-class shopping, galleries, restaurants and nightlife. You are within easy walking (and biking) distance to Key West's famous historic homes, tours and attractions. The Hemingway House and the Lighthouse Museum are both only seven blocks away, and the world-famous Southernmost Point in the Continental U.S. is five blocks from our door.
There are 3 types of hostel rooms according to the choice of the guest-- All male hostel, All female hostel, Mixed room hostel. Bedding needs will be supplied and towels are available for a small deposit. We are sorry but we do not provide bathing products.

Any remaining balance will be charged upon arrival.

I waspretty disappointed by this hostel, especially for the price I paid ! 2 rooms where connected by a tiny corridor with one share bathroom. There was no door in-between so anytime someone from one of the two rooms had to use it, it would be pretty loud. Also, there was what I guess used to be a window right by my bed.. now its more like a piece of wood loosely placed there, so I would hear the noice from the street a lot.

We stayed at the Seashell Hostel for two nights in a private bedroom. The quality price ratio is really good for the location, and the room was very clean and cozy. The outdoor kitchen has a barbecue, which was nice. We would recommend this place to every traveler.

It worked out, and saved me hundreds of dollar in an expensive location. One complaint: the website said that lockers were available to lock my belongings, but it did NOT explain or emphasize that you had to provide your own padlock. Upon arrival, I found that out, and that the Seashell did not rent or sell locks. The clerk said a shop three blocks down had them for sale, but the shop he referred me to referred me to a second shop, which sent me to a third shop, none of which carried locks. Bad!
