Popis hostelu
The hostel has been built especially in order to be in an area of 2050m Forest at 300m from the sea.
Dormitory, not mixed, giving a capacity for 28 people. Easy access to services, supermarket 500 m, bus agency 700 m and the Laguna del Sauce International Airport 3 km. Open all year.
We are in Punta Ballena, Maldonado, Uruguay. Just 18km from Punta del Este and 115km from Montevideo(capital). We are 700m from the bus agency and there is a bus stop 300m from our property. Access and supermarket are just 500m 200m Lussich Arboretum National Park, one of the largest forest reserves in South America.

Though it's a bit far from the Punta Del Leste itself, it's close to a gorgeous beach. If you want to escape the traditional touristy spots, it is your best bet.
Shops and restaurants are also a bit of a walk, but it's cheaper than elsewhere in the city.
If you ask the bus drivers where you're going they will leave very close to the hostel.
The place is quiet and chilled, clean and has a great atmosphere.

Martin and company were exceptional hosts. My greatest experience in Uruguay. Would retrun again in a heatbeat. The area and surrounding neighborhood were most peaceful. Thank you , Martin! Sincerely - Pamela D'Ambrosio

-No plugs on the bedrooms: to charge your phone, you must do it on the bar (common area) "for security"; -It's 2,7 km (1,7 miles) from Casapueblo and 1 km (0,65 miles) from the closest bus stop; Take a printed map with the location! The streets have no name and know you will have to walk beside de highway to get there; -The best thing about the hostel was the staff: great people; -We absolutelly recommend you eat the salame pizza. It's really good; -A great place for relaxing.
