Athens Backpackers was completely renovated from top to bottom in June 2021. It now has a 2 level Roof Bar called ?Sunnies? with unbeatable views of the Acropolis. And a downstairs lobby bar and co working space with a meze eatery called "The Local? serving local food and drinks all day and night.
All rooms, bars and spaces at the property have 200MBPS hi-speed WiFi. All shared rooms have PODS with individual lights and charging stations. We have completely contactless check in/out and our door locks are covid proof and operated by your smart phone.

Staff were very friendly especially the woman working day shifts.
Really good for solo travellers the communal space kinda makes it easy to mix with people. Super close to the acropolis and museum. Also beside the Acropolis metro stop making getting to and from the port or airport simple.
Can pretty much walk to everything you'd need. The communal space is shut by about 11pm which was a drag when we'd a group chatting.
Highly recommend.

LOOKING FOR GREAT HOSTEL AT GREAT LOCATION? Then look no more. 10/10 location, you will be in the touristy area with the historical sights at your hand how close they are. You can get to local and nice places to eat within minutes, very safe area, nice breakfast and I did not meet a single person who would not want to meet (probably also due to this time of the year). Otherwise nothing to complain about. You will love it

Great hostel. Was reasonably quiet at night, had an incredibly location right next to the Acropolis, and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. Marked down on facilities only because our shower was leaking at one point and the toilet would run a little bit. Overall, however, the facilities were very well-maintained and the building seemed newly renovated. Would recommend!

I think it's where we are and who we are that make us unique. Travelling is for meeting people; that's why we've designed our place and all the activities so you do just that.
Our Skybar has 360 views of the Acropolis, so close you can almost touch it. Next door is the Fish Café, with the best meals in Athens under â'¬8. Our street also has a Laundromat and two unique barsâ¦plus, our hostel is on a road lined with orange trees! The smell of orange blossoms is amazing.
Our guests are constantly raving to me about our Sky Bar, since it has cheap ice-cold beers and cocktails and the fact they meet so many new people!
We cater to anyone and everyone because we all bring something unique to the party. We accommodate individuals wanting to meet people and families desiring privacy and amenities. We also have elevators in all buildings and emergency assistance call buttons in the bathrooms.
