Settle into island life at El Viajero San Andres Hostel. Watch the waves from our rooftop bar, or ask our tour desk about surfing lessons or boat trips around the island. Each of our five floors is decorated with a unique theme and everyone has a space to chill or party. Flop down in our lounge and stream a movie with our free Wi-Fi, or take a salsa class in our nightclub. In the mornings, fill yourself up with our breakfast before starting all over again.

You'll find us a 10-minute stroll away from Playa Spratt Bight, which is surrounded by bars, restaurants, and supermarkets. If water sports are more your thing, head to Playa Principal, a similar distance away on foot. You can also jump in a taxi to see the famous cave at Cayo Rocoso a 12-minute journey. We reckon we're up there with some of Colombia's easiest airport transfers we're just a 10-minute walk away from the airport! Once you land, walk to Avenida Las Americas via the airport's parking lot, continue past the baseball field, and then turn right on Carrera 6. Take the next left turn on Calle 5, and carry on until you reach Avenida 20 de Julio, our street.

Take a break from the heat in any of our mixed or female-only dorms, all are fitted with air-con. All our double rooms have the added benefit of an en-suite, so you get a little extra privacy. Free linen is included, and we have under-bed lockers for your backpack just remember a padlock.

*Mandatory: Please bring and show your original passport or Colombian identification for check-in. This is enforced by the National Police and Colombian Migration.

*Note: We have a luggage room at the reception, you may store your personal items in case you arrive before check-in time or leave after check-out time.

*Taxes: Colombian citizens and foreigners with Colombian residency must pay taxes (IVA): 19%. This tax does not appear on the final rate of the reservation.

*All guests must be over 18 years old.

* Small pets (up to 17 kilograms - 34 lbs) are allowed in private rooms only. A maximum of 2 pets are allowed per room. Your stay has an additional cost of 15 USD. Assistance dogs or guide dogs will always be allowed in any of our outlets and are free of charge as long as the owner presents a certificate confirming that their dog is an Assistance or guide dog. At check-in, a copy of the pet's passport must be presented. *You must review additional policies, at the time of check-in, about the care of your pet during your stay.

Cancellation policy: You have up to 48 hours before your arrival to cancel o modify with no cost. If you don't report the change before this time or do not show up, we will have to charge the first night of your reservation to your credit card.
