Just a 5-minute walk from King's Cross Tube and St. Pancras International Station, Clink261 is your cozy, centrally located home away from home in London. We've been welcoming travellers for 20 years, and our laid-back vibe keeps backpackers coming back. With free Wi-Fi throughout the building, a self-catering kitchen, friendly staff, and comfy sofas, you'll feel right at home in our unique British-themed interiors, housed in a revitalized old Student Union building.
Choose from shared dorms, girls-only dorms, or private rooms—all featuring bunk beds with reading lights, USB/electric ports, and lockers (bring your own padlock). Towels are included in private rooms and available for a small fee in dorms. Our 24/7 reception offers discounted tickets on tours and attractions, and our friendly team is always ready to help with any questions. Please note, Clink261 is a cashless hostel, and guests must present a debit/credit card at check-in.
Located in the bustling and creative King's Cross area, Clink261 is close to the famous gig venue 'Water Rats', an open-air swimming pool, and 'Kerb' Street Food Market at Granary Square. The British Museum and Camden Market are just a 25–30-minute walk away, and all of London’s major sights are easily accessible by public transport. Although we don’t have on-site parking, nearby options include the Judd Street NCP Car Park. The beds, bathrooms and toilets were very clean, the location was unbeatable (especially if you arrive at St. Pancras or King's Cross!!) and there was a nice big common area and kitchen, even though I didn't really use them. It was fine for a couple of nights, but I will say that the 4 bed female dorms were ridiculously tiny. As in: you can only open your suitcase if you're alone in the room or everyone else stays on their bed.

Very conveniently located for Euston and King’s Cross stations, however that’s really the only selling point for this place. Rooms were a bit cramped which is not unexpected for hostels. But they are badly ventilated and very stuffy, even in cooler weather. The bed was a bit hard for me and the room was right next to the loud street, so I didn’t get the best sleep. Far too few showers and sinks for the place.
Fine place to crash for a night but not for longer stays.

This hostel was on track to be in my top hostels. The room and bathrooms were clean, it is a good location in central London, etc. I did, however, see a mouse in the kitchen. When I told reception, he simply shrugged his shoulders and said he had also seen it. Wasn’t very comforting.
