Location was amazing, so close to the centre of York. Did feel really uncomfortable in the dorms, dirty and smelly showers that weren’t cleaned while we were there.

Difficult to get a good nights sleep when people are checking in at all hours of the night and then having to make their own beds. I have slept in many dorms, but there was something about this one that just didn’t make me feel like it was a “safestay”. Odd smells in building and depending on the cleanliness of the people in your room, it may smell like a bathroom. It was very cold in York when I visited and the heat throughout the building is not good and the building was freezing cold, but the heaters
