Come and visit us at the newly renovated HI Vancouver Downtown hostel, reopening June 2023.
Sure to be a crowd pleaser, the newly renovated HI Vancouver Downtown has a little something for everyone. From its quiet spot just off the West End's vibrant Davie strip, you can easily walk to the beach, Stanley Park and English Bay in minutes. Dine out at one of the many restaurants nearby or cook up your own meal in the fully equipped kitchen.
Within its walls, all dorms have a maximum of four beds with lockers for your luggage, a sink and secure key-card access. Our private rooms are cozy and comfortable with shared washrooms down the hall.
Relax and get to know our travellers in our lounge, co-working spaces, games room, self-service kitchen and patios. We've got free Wifi of course and tons of free advice on what to see and do in the city and where to go next.
We can't wait to see you!

Lovely hot showers. Comfy bed. Lovely people. Would definitely come back. Quieter than gas town. Less isolated than Jericho beach. Wish I'd come here first

When I arrived the staff had me wait 45mins to check in then he gave me a room that had all the beds full. This was at 3am I felt so bad for the people I woke up. He also told me nothing about the facility when I arrived. Useless and lazy.

The room was really hot for me and it got quite hard to fall asleep. Anything else was great, the location was nice
