Bunks at rode hostel is by far one of the best hostels I've stayed in! The hostel is secure and clean! But what makes this hostel the best hostel is the staff!
This hostel would be lost without Sara and Marielle for their energy and commitment to making us all happy, they both went over and above what any hostel employee has ever done for the people staying and I've been travelling 10 years now!!
Absolute credit to these two and I will definitely be back to see them and to explore more of Oslo

Bunks on Rode was easily my favorite hostel in Norway! A little hard to find, but not too bad. Nice location, outstanding staff, very fun vibe, everyone was super nice, super cleaning and outstanding security! First hostel I've been to where your keycard locked and unlocked your assigned locker, impressive touch. Absolutely would recommend this hostel to anyone. Total 10 out of 10.

Bunks was brilliant. It was very clean, my bed was so comfy and the room was quiet despite having 25ish (?) beds in it, so I slept well. The bathrooms were also very clean, the showers were lovely, there were always multiple showers free to use and shower gel, conditioner and towels were provided. I felt very safe in the female only dorm. However there needs to be a hob/oven and more crockery provided rather than just a microwave and kettle, especially considering the hostel wasn't the cheapest.
