Welcome to Drifter Christchurch, an experience for the free-spirited where our story is yours.
We may not have met yet, but we can’t wait to do so and smile and laugh and sing and talk about different stories and write new ones in the snow and sun, and above all, have some fun. We don’t know everything about you, but we do know that simply by the fact you have chosen to visit us, you are curious; you want to see and feel more than you have seen and felt before, and because of that, we are excited to drift away together, somewhere, forever.

This hostel has put all the others I've stayed in to shame. The rooms are light and roomy with comfy beds with a privacy curtain, chargers and lights in each pod. The social areas were great, free pool and shuffleboard in the main area. They also have an exercise room and a cinema room. The activities they put on are good fun and a really easy way to meet people. Probably my only negative is the kitchen is a little small for the number of beds but easily manageable. Would 100% stay again!

One of the cleanest and most impressive hostels I have ever stayed in. Extremely efficient and very comfortable rooms and communal spaces. The problem was the kitchen - far too small for the amount of guests trying to cook there, lacking basic facilities (no oven) and generally not brilliant. Other than that a wonderful hostel to stay in.
