Welcome to the Caribbean in the beautiful village of Placencia, where " Silver Sand, Placencia " has opened its doors to accommodate travelers near or far. Whether you are on vacation or work we are here to help you.
During your stay at " Silver Sand, Placencia " we want you to experience the life we live and natures daily temperature as we locals live it but ending your day with a restful night in an air conditioned room at a set time 6 pm to 8 am, after a day out on tour or sun bathing.
Placencia is well known for its people(kindness, friendly and always helpful).
Each of our colorful cabanas can accommodate 4 person with en suite bathrooms (hot and cold showers). Housekeeping is done daily, towels, and linens are provided.
Go Slow Policy and Condition:
Cancellation Policy: 2 days before arrival.In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Payment upon arrival by cash

Honestly I don’t know how this can be called a hostel😂 is one currently used dorm, the others still have plastic on the mattresses so obviously not used! No facilities, no kitchen.
Funniest thing was I was the only guest and I genuinely think the staff forgot I was there and left for New Years ever as I didn’t see a single person for 48 hours!! Was actually quite creepy to know there was no one around at night, wanted someone to turn my aircon on and no one here to ask, However rooms were clean

A good place to stay and needs some simple improvements. It’s clear they’re a brand new operation and still literally under construction. Little things like no location or address listed (but they picked us up), drinking water, fan, mini fridge, or a little water pressure would be great. At one point they change the doorknob and lock but didn’t inform us or know where the new key was, weird.
Pros: very clean, and comfortable. Fast WiFi, nice outdoor area, friendly staff, good location.

great location. a 1 minute walk to the beach and 3 minutes away from a dive shop makes it a super convenient location. beds are brand new and super comfortable. yes there is no kitchen but you can find cheap food close by.
