Offering views of the mountains, Makalu Lodge is located at Pasaje Italia N°497 - Huaraz. The property has 6 rooms with excellent sun inputs and views of the imposing mountains of Huaraz.
We are 1.8 km from Estadio Rosas Pampa.
A terrace and shared kitchen are also included. We offer: free-wife, hot water, towel. The rooms have a shared bathroom. Guests are offered advice regarding the different tour options and adventure activities available to do during their stay.

As per the reviews and rating, Makalu Lodge wasn’t even close. No lockers, dirty bedsheets, wifi didn’t work in my room, chaotic rooftop, kitchen next to reception, I mean really! Can’t recommend this hostel to anyone.

Great hostel, there are plenty of options in Huaraz but the staff here are super helpful and knowledgeable with organising treks and day trips. Excellent value for money and a friendly welcoming environment. Big thanks to Santiago for helping us with organising our treks late into the night when another company cancelled on us.

I had a great stay. The place was super affordable and the guys working there were helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about setting up any hikes.
