Rooms are such a high standard - best I’ve ever experienced in a hostel but the general atmosphere was more of a private / bespoke nature which appeared to be accommodating for large groups of families who seemed to know one another. I got eaten alive by mosquitoes at Jo&Joe after not having any problems for 2 weeks in Rio elsewhere. I know others had the same issue :(

This place is phenomenal, it has everything we need for a place to stay and have fun!
The security is topnotch, with security on site, the key system, and friendly staff just made me feel safe the whole time.
The ambiance was amazing too, with the Brazilian indépendance day long weekend, there were loads of activities from happy hour and Simba dance!
Just the location was a bit far from the transport and everything except the Cristo, but an UBER can always get it sorted.
I will def come back!!

This place is huge!! When I arrived it wasn’t that busy however so I didn’t meet many people. It’s an absolutely beautiful hostel but quite far out from the beaches. The staff were incredible and would definitely stay here again!! Xx
