Sunrise Guest House

We had an amazing stay here. We booked for 2 nights and ended up staying 5. The hosts are SO kind and helpful. Rooms are cleaned daily and are very comfy. Booking tours is so easy. Really couldn’t recommend this place enough- definitely would stay here again!

Sunrise is perfectly located and is great value for money. The staff were lovely and did what they could to help, breakfast was nice and the room was clean. Showers weren’t always hot when hostel was busy, also it was pretty loud due to rooms facing inwards and lack of black out curtains meant light from the corridor would wake us up when people went out at 4am on tours.

To be avoided at all cost! The place is clean and simple but the staff were disgraceful. There was never any hot water. We woke up one morning to a room completely flooded, the toilets had leaked all night. We went and asked for help and all they did was mop the floors with a mop that stunk of vomit. The beds were drenched, as were all our belongings and clothes. This was at 5am. We then had to go ask them to change rooms as everything was wet and we couldn’t go back to bed. ( all they did was mop the floor). They didn’t have any free rooms for us so we asked for a refund and they told us that we were ridiculous and that we had to leave the hostel in the next 30 minutes. An absolute nightmare of a stay.
