booked a private room, upon arrival there was no room available and send me back on the streets at 10PM. Did not get a refund

I don’t really reccomend this hostal to anyone who is looking for more than a bed. It might be the cheapest hostal in the town along with an amazing location in the downtown, but it still doesn’t justify the hot water being available only for 4 hours per day, extremely dirty toilets with no soap to wash your hands. There were no charging points next to the bed and there is certainly no need to blast the music at 8-8:30 in the morning as well.

Pros:
-great location near the city center, can walk everywhere
-friendly staff
-internet was good
-very low price for a private room, cheaper than dorm rates in many hostels in Mexico
Cons:
-no mirror in private room
-only one plug socket in private room
-strong smell of mold in private room bathroom
-initially no bins in the private room bathroom, I had to ask for one
-lack of privacy in private room, due to curtains not covering all the windows
-poorly equipped kitchen. I couldn’t find a fork!
