This place may be under new management, but there are no improvements. They are falsely advertising a free surfing lesson for a stay at the hostel. The owner runs a surfing school and does not contact you to give you the lesson and no voucher is given for a future lesson. They do not clean the dorms or the bathrooms. They didn't even have toilet paper. My bed had dog hair on it and the thread bare sheets had that moldy smell you get when you leave still-wet-laundry overnight in the machine.

Warning to stay away from this place; it looks nothing like the pictures. There is vegetation, trash, and cracks everywhere, which I was willing to tolerate only to find that the manager was either drunk, with a woman, or both when my group and I arrived at check in(what other ppl there said). Meaning we got to the place, (poorly located behind an inauspicious black gate) and nobody was there to check us in. Over the course of the next 3 days we called them a ton, only to get an answer on day 4.
