Welcome to The Spot Hostel, land of lakes and volcanoes, the only spot to stay in Leon, Nicaragua.
Situated in the vibrant city centre of Leon and a stone's throw away from the very best experiences Leon has to offer. We're more than a hostel, we offer the complete backpacking experience, from chilled out vibes to beer pong competitions. You're sure to have an unforgettable time with us. From the hustle and bustle of Leon city centre, to 15 minutes from Las Penitas Beach. So whether you want to spend your time exploring the city and then popping down to the beach to catch the sunset, then The Spot Hostel is the perfect place to stay.
We work with local tour companies and source our produce locally for that real authentic Nicaraguan experience. Our guests come from all over the world to get the chance to Volcano Board down a mountain, visit stunning architecture on our doorstep, Cathedral of Leon, Parque Central, Museo De La Revolucion and Iglesia El Calvario. Indulge in Nicaraguan culture, hike and camp outside active volcanoes, canyon water jumping at Somoto, visit Asososca Crater and much more. Among all these mind-blowing activities, The Spot Hostel offers a dining area, communal seating area, hammocks, social activities for you to enjoy and the best sushi around.

Open Monday-Sunday from 7:00am - 10:00pm
THE SPOT HOSTEL ROOM TYPES:
- Standard Mixed 6 Bed dorm with ensuite bathroom/shower - AC 8pm-8am
- Standard Mixed 5 Bed dorm with shared external bathrooms/showers - AC 8pm-8am
- Deluxe Double Bed with private bathroom for 2 - AC $5 extra/night
- Standard 4 Bed with external private bathroom for 4
- Standard Double bed with private bathroom for 2 - AC $5 extra/night
THINGS TO KNOW:
- Payment at check in - cash/card/PayPal
- Must present ID upon registration
- Breakfast included 8-10am
- Free coffee
- Free lockers and towels
- Non-smoking rooms. Designated areas only
- 24hr Late check in - Pls send us a courtesy email
- Adults only
- Security 24-7
- Laundry services
- Housekeeping hours 11-1pm (stow belongings)

Good hostel in a good location. We stayed in the private room which was clean. However, I think there are better places to stay in Leon for better value. Communal areas are okay but need some love. Staff are very friendly but not that helpful when checking in, e.g. providing information on the town, tours and places to eat. We had to ask for the free breakfast each morning which is usually not the case at other hostels we have stayed at.

Cute hostel in the centre of town.
Private room was great and staff were friendly.
The place was very quite - however we were here during low season so guest number were likely low.
