The Youth Hostel of Lisbon Parque das Nações, fully renovated in 2023, is just a few meters from the main attractions of the eastern part of the city: from Altice Arena to Oceanário de Lisboa, FIL – Lisbon Exhibition and the stretch with bars and restaurants along the River Tagus. Close by is the Vasco da Gama Shopping Center, the Skate Park, the Casino, the Oriente Metro station and the countless green spaces for inline skating, cycling or simply walking!

I stayed at this hostel for three nights and unfortunately had a concerning experience. I discovered a bedbug in the room (109) during the last few minutes of my stay, although it wasn't in my bed. Thankfully, I wasn't bitten, but I promptly notified the receptionist. The location, while close to the airport, is far from main attractions. The breakfast offered was good, but being particular about coffee, I opted to have it elsewhere. On a positive note, the showers were satisfactory, and it prov

I booked for a 4 bed dorm but they had stuck an extra camp bed in there so there was five people and only 4 lockers. The beds were uncomfortable, the room hot and not properly ventilated, and the general atmosphere of the place was more like a hospital than a place I'd want to spend the night in. There are far nicer hostels in Lisbon charging the same rates. Only plus sides were closeness to the airport and the staff at reception were lovely.
