Other than the immaculately clean, cosy dorms and private rooms - Zostel Mysore offers a lawn on ground floor and a breathtaking rooftop lounging area. The common areas are ideal spots for chatting up with fellow backpackers or to read that book while looking outside time to time and getting lost in the green fields.

Luckily, Mysore is popular as a mainstream tourist destination and hence is well- maintained city.

Awesome hostel for solo travelers. Great atmosphere. A bit pricey compared to other cities but only option in town really. Super friendly and helpful staff, especially Priya and the young guy. Could feel the springs through the mattress so they’re definitely overdue a replacement. But was so tired I slept pretty well. Only complaint would be about the older lady in reception. She needs to be instructed to not wake people up 1h before check out! She literally shook me awake to ask if I’m checking out or exte

There was no atmosphere at this hostel. The staff were quite rude and offered no assistance. The facilities are subpar at best. I would not recommend this hostel.

Overall a nice hostel in a good location. Nice food places nearby. My main issue was the common areas were not well maintained. Every morning when I came down there was dog fur all over my shoes and the furniture. Also while the dog didn’t bother me I do think it should be mentioned before booking as it was quite aggressive and barking a lot towards men in particular.
