Islas del Rio hostel is set in what was once a historic Casona now over 100 years old though restored in 2014.
The Sarapiqui River itself is considered of National historic heritage for its role in the civil war and our Casona was part of the action. Offering a barbecue and views of the river, Our hostel is located in Chilamate 8 km from Puerto Viejo Sarapiqui.
