The friendly, attentive and welcoming staff of St Christopher?s Hammersmith are frequently cited by our users as one of the best features of the hostel. We particularly like their pub crawl and the 25% discount offered on food in the downstairs pub. Our guests also regularly note how clean the hostel is. It?s across the road from the Piccadilly line at Hammersmith underground station, putting it mid-way between Heathrow airport and central London and connecting directly to many of the most popular and interesting sites in the city.

Located within walking distance of Hammersmith tube station, the Hammersmith Apollo (world-famous music venue), The River Thames, the Thursday Markets, Furnival Gardens, King's Mall Shopping Centre and Charing Cross Hospital.

There is a continental breakfast available every morning for just £5 a day which can be purchased at reception on arrival.

A short ride away there is Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Westminster, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Harrods and Westfield shopping centre.

Stayed at many St Christophers over the years and this one was the worst. The staff were fine however we had to check in at exactly 15:00, upon 15:00 the staff behind the desk waited another 20 minutes before letting us check in. Not the end of the world but not great when you've been travelling all day. The bed was comfy however the usb ports weren't working and there wasn't any curtains around the bunk. The bottom bunk was also incredibly small, you couldn't sit up in it

For one night it's great value. Beds are good, place is right next to the station. 2 downsides. So many stairs to get to the rooms. LOUD. We brought earplugs and could hear the bar below until 2.30am through the pillow. I'd suggest staying out late and waking up late - but if you need a good nights sleep - go somewhere else.

overall it was fine, clean beds and bathrooms. The social aspect that you would want from a hostel isn't really there though, and there aren't many spots to sit and eat/chat with other people.
