We loved staying in HI Holandes, the staff were really helpful and kind and the jungle location was really beautiful. Only downside was that it was not that sociable, however I was travelling with friends so we were fine. Recommend otherwise !

Beautiful setting for hostel / pousada set slightly back from the town (5min walk) amongst lush forest. Setting feels like paradise! Super helpful staff, and breakfast each morning is very generous with freshly baked cakes. Also a well-equipped kitchen to use if needed. Highly recommend!

Great accomodation. Especially the staff was very helpful and friendly. Slightly more expensive than most hostels though.
