Don’t know why this place is rated so high. The noise is unbearable, like a nightclub. If you’re looking to sleep at all do not stay here, up till 4 in the morning sometimes due to shouting and banging and blaring music. Staff must not stay onsite as there’s no standards whatsoever. It’s filthy everywhere, homeless people come in and sleep on the sofas too. I’ve stayed in many hostels all over Australia and this is the worst by far! Me and my friend booked ages in advance and got split up too.

Noise and drunks shouting outside rooms and banging on doors all night. People bringing guests into rooms and talking late at night after lights are off. Filthy common area and really filthy kitchen. This place is like a daycare for backpackers, but with no adults to clean up!
