Popis hostelu
Our Hostel is the first one in Peniche and it has been recognized by Lonely Planet and The Guardian.uk as one of the most charismatic hostels in the world. According to our guests the hostel is most often described as a home away from home.
It's a place for backpackers, surfers, people travelling alone or in small groups. The hostel is cozy and small with only 2 private rooms and 2 dorms with 4 beds. The hostel has 2 shared bathrooms. The common area gathers the guests in the evenings to socialize, cook together, play boardgames,& puzzles and to play guitar.
The hostel is located in the heart of Peniche within a short walking distance away from the bus station as well as from all the awesome local restaurants. We are located within 10min walk away from the Gamboa beach where you can sunbathe and surf. We also work with a surfschool that comes to pick up from the hostel to the best surf spots in town. There are lessons available from beginner to advanced surfers in a small group setting.

best hostel i have eexperinced so far. great staff, decent breakfast. becausebecause its so small it reareally feels like a home with roommates. very comfortable and friendly space.

This Hostel is so nice and homey, clean, and with such a good atmosphere, that I purposefully came back a year later all the way from Washington DC. Peniche is absolutely awesome for either bike rental or surfing with just enough fish processing factory stuff in the right areas to keep mediocre mass tourists out without ruining it. The climate is that of Monterey California. Mario is very kind and professional and is always available on the phone line provided to help you out if you're in a bind
