I initially booked a dorm bed however when reaching and seeing the condition of the shared room, I just could not stay there. I had to immediately change to private room.The shared female dorm was unclean, with no lockers, no sufficient lights, and no space. Everyone's stuff was just lying in the whole room randomly and it was a mess. Even the shared bathrooms were not clean.Positive things: Breakfast, reception lounge and private rooms were okay.

This is a nice hostel to explore Lausanne from, made even easier by the free metro and bus pass. There is no kitchen or fridge, but there is a microwave in the common area. The free breakfast is good, but i would have liked to be able to make my own other meals.

A bit far from the core of the city but they give you a pass for public transport which is very appreciated!
