Our beautiful Hostel, Shantee House located in Budapest. Invites you with a joyful atmosphere in a cozy environment with comfortable and clean rooms. The hostel is in a quiet location, near the city center and well connected with an excellent 24 hour public transport network. Easy excess to historical sites and all attractions.
Shantee House welcomes international visitors, sharing a unique audience. Surrounded by a friendly ambient that feels like you are at home. Offering easy socialising around the kitchen table, dinner cooking - story telling. You can share your experiences and make friends for life in the space of timelessness.
We focus our attention on kindness, care and providing a comfortable stay to our guests. Offering various type of accommodation to suit your needs; private rooms for couples, for groups or solo travellers 3 to 6, or 12 bed shared rooms for a happy sleep with a freshly made comfy bed. During summertime for adventure and nature lovers we offer sleeping in our enchanted Mongolian Yurt-tent dressed with comfortable beds. There are also camping facilities, hammocks available for sleeping in our green garden area under the shade of a weeping willow tree.
* Please note our reception is open from 7am until 12pm midnight but in case of late arrival please contact us in advance *
* * Car parking for fee from 8 am till 6 pm on our residential street (Weekends free of charge) Free street parking is 10 minutes away by walk. If you are traveling by pedal power we have a little parking area for your bicycle in our front garden

By tram it's 10 minutes far from city ceter. Mabye that if you're looking for info about city and everything what the tourists usualy want to know, the reception in the hostel isn't the place where you will get it. But that is really only not that good thing on the whole hostel. It was really nice.

Loved this place.
It is a little bit out of the town centre, but only 15 mins on the metro which is super cheap.
The hostel is clean, friendly and really felt like home. It's like a warm hug. The kitchen had everything you need to cook proper meals and the common areas were places you actually wanted to hang out.
Brilliant hostel.
