A travellers favourite in Medellin for over seventeen years. The Black Sheep is a New Zealand/ Colombian run hostel located in the best area of Medellin, Patio Bonito in El Poblado. Less than ten minutes walk from the Metro Station Poblado, two major shopping centers, supermarkets and the Zona Rosas hundreds of bars and restaurants.
Among the facilities on offer are a great tv room with Directv HD and a nice balcony to sit out on and relax. A large terrace with hammocks. We also have a kitchen with all the modern appliances and cheap beer for sale. ´
Dedicated fiber option line to hostel with eight Ubiquiti hotspots covering the whole hostel and lightening fast speed for Colombia, 120Mbps downloads and 60 uploads.
We can help you book a Pablo Escobar tour, a free walking tour, Comuna 13 Grafitti tour, a visit to a local brewery as well as paragliding and trips to neigbouring highlights like Guatape, Santa Fe de Antioquia and Rio Claro. Football tours are also offered once or twice a week during the year. Most tour companies offer pickup from our hostel.

SUPER COMDORTABLE BEDS, finding a comfy bed is what was starting to make me questions hostels. AND then BLACK SHEEP came to the rescue. Great location, staff, and 24/7 security. Also I even took my parents (age 62,61) here and they had a great night's sleep

Cool hostel with a great atmosphere, probably the most social place we've stayed, without being too much of a 'party hostel'. The staff are all super friendly, and I can't fault the cleanliness, or optional extras (i.e. laundry and beers were cheap!). Only issue we faced was the upstairs shared bathroom isn't in great condition, the toilet seat kept breaking and one of the shower doors didn't lock. Small issues for an aweslme hostel though!

Great staff and can bring in your own drinks (not beer they sell cold beers for cheap) - room was nice but nothing fancy - could do with more than 1 fan in the room
There is a well stocked kitchen (but you can also order food in) and a TV room which is good for the hangover.
Only downside is they didn’t empty the bins in our room for the 3 nights we stayed there so ended up being pretty full.
