Our youth hostel can accommodate 55 people in nice, colourfully decorated non-smoking rooms. You can choose between:
- double / triple rooms,
- standard 4 Bed Apartment,
- standard 4 Bed Family Room,
- standard 6 Bed Apartment,
- standard 8 Bed dormitory Room.
LOCATION
Simbol Hostel is set in a quiet and green part of South-Eastern Ljubljana. A leisurely 10 minute walk to the beginning of the old part of the town centre (Church of Trnovo) and the Ljubljanica river. From there you get to the town centre, walking through the old part of the town centre past many pubs and restaurants along the Ljubljanica river. If you want, you can take the bus to the city centre (only few minutes away).

Our reception works from 8am to 11pm
We can arrange check in also during the night but you have to inform us in advance. If anything changes in your arrival also please let us know.

Please inform us of your expected time of arrival and confirm your booking until 5pm the latest on your day of arrival. In case you don't do that we will cancel your booking.
TOURIST TAX
Tourist tax (3.13 euro per person per night) is not included in the price.

Somebody tried to get into our room in the night, we were scared to let him in because he didn’t tell us anything, in the morning he called the facility that was really snappy about us not letting a strange man in our room, even though he didn’t have the room key. How exactly we were supposed to know he lives there is a mystery. Also the receptiom guy just walked into the room while I was naked.

The hostel is not near center but if you dont mind walking a little , this might be a good choice for yo u. I satyed in the room for 8 people. The room was clean, the showers acceptable but charging phone there? in the room with 8 beds there were only 1 maybe 2 power plugs .. and in the bathrooms (there are 2 bathrooms). The owner is a funny guy who wont hesitate to help you any time. Overall: I had pretty god experience. WOULD RECOMMEND!

As a young and especially female traveler, would not recommend. Felt very unsafe with all the elder men living and hanging out there. Some of them weren’t even staying in the hostel, just drinking in the common areas and terrace. My friend was talking on the phone in common areas and they followed her and came way too close. Also there is no thrash bins in dorms or bathrooms.
