Located in the fantastic district of Grünerløkka and less than 15 minutes' walk from Oslo's busy main street Karl Johan, Anker Hostel gives you an unique experience from different areas in Oslo. Grünerløkka has risen to become Oslo`s most trendy area, with shops, a variety of restaurants and fantastic bars surrounding beautiful parks and other attractions. In addition to this, concert venues such as Oslo Spectrum, Sentrum Scene and Rockefeller are only a few minutes walk away.
Anker Hostel offers spacious rooms and accommodation suitable for all age groups in a relaxed and international atmosphere. All rooms are equipped with kitchen and bathroom. Free Wi-Fi access is available in all rooms and in our fantastic public areas, including library (Mezzanine), lobby, lounge area and bar.
One set of bedlinen/towels are included in the price. Additional sets can be rented in the reception for NOK 70.

One of only two hostels in Oslo so not much selection. The beds were comfy but a very standard hostel. The shower/ bathroom is sub par. No lockers in rooms so you have to rely on small lockers in the lobby. The staff was really friendly. The location made me feel on alert walking around at night.

Overall, this hostel was alright. Not a good hostel to meet people. The kitchen is inside the room which was weird. The shower was extremely gross and bathroom was very small. Only 1 bathroom for 6 people.
