I would say this location comes with a caveat, if all you wanna do is be in downtown Paris and see all the sights. This hostel is ok for that, it's a 40 min train ride to the Eiffel tower. But there's 2 vital metro stations within 5 minutes of the hostel. I think this hostel excels in it's location because it's located a bit far from all the regular tourist areas and I felt like I was seeing the real Paris which I enjoyed.

Thé bed and the bed sheets are smelly and there was a problem with the air condition and the room air circulation. The room window was not closing property and they have just put tape on it !!! The staff and the atmosphere were nice.

Stayed in an 8 bed dorm on the 5th floor - really enjoyed the privacy of the bunk curtains and found the room to be clean and well-equipped. Room had its own balcony overlooking the city, and from the rooftop you could see almost all of Paris! Great vibe in the bar downstairs with friendly staff and live Jazz jams on a couple nights a week.
Would recommend this place for sure!
