Backpackers Balcones River Lodge is located 1.5km from town, surrounded by gardens and nature, right next to the fast flowing river Rio Pastaza. It is a very friendly BB with a relaxed atmosphere and sensational views of the mountains and active volcano (Tungurahua), which provide perfect places to chill out in our hammocks. Our rooms Lunes-Viernes are brand new and has its own fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom with hot showers, and reliable, good quality wifi. Are rooms Febrero-Octubre provide are equipped with private bathrooms, hot water, reliable wifi, incredible mountain and river views from the third floor and comfortable beds. Fresh fruit, drinking water, and access to a fridge and large complete shared kicthen space are also included! We offer a variety of rooms perfect for singles, couples, groups and families. We offer many places to relax and unwind, enjoy reading from our international collection of books and enjoy incredible 360 views from our terrace on the fourth floor!
