Popis hostelu
Teduh Hostel is located at Kota Tua, which was called 'The Jewel of Asia' in the 16th century by European sailors and preserved since the Dutch colonial rule. As Jakarta’s first boutique hostel experience, “Teduh”, which means “sanctuary” in English, symbolizes our desire to offer our guests a home in the midst of the Jakarta's hectic lifestyle.
Our reception is available daily between 08:00am – 16:30pm.
If you are checking in beyond the above-stated time, kindly follow these steps :
1. Pick the folder with your name on it.
2. Fill up our Guest’s Details Form and please sign at the bottom.
3. Take the assigned key and follow the bed map to locate your bed.
4. Payment and Check-Out could be done during the reception hours, outside of that kindly call or whatsapp one of the following numbers.
5. If you need to purchase a set of padlock (IDR 30k/each), or simply have any questions – do give us a shout out on any of the numbers above.

Nice hostel i Kota old dutch part of the town. The staff was nice and helpful, the hostel is clean, clean linen, showers, european toilets (not standard in Indonesia). Free drinking water, tea, coffee, wifi. Not much to see or do in this city corner.

I was unable to reach the entrance in blocked street by a security guy. I had to book an other hostel for that night. :(

Absolutely disappointing in any aspect you imagine. I booked for two nights and I escaped after the first.
Army of bed bugs on beds marching and waiting to suck your blood.
It took ages for the staff to check me in. The guy in the reception could not speak English however I checked in so let so let’s take it easy. But, the sheets, linen, pillow cases are all dirty and I cannot believe the rate is even more than 1 out of 10.
Very basic facility and dirty kites and toilets.
Everything awful.
