All of our rooms come fully made up with linen and duvets, and most of the dorms include en-suite and/or kitchen facilities. The friendly team at 'the Laughter' are all experienced travellers and can book you any of the huge variety of activities available in and around town. So whether you fancy jumping out of a plane at a great height, bungy jumping off a bridge in the place where it all started or something a little more sedate such as cruising on the majestic Milford Sounds come and see us at reception and we'll sort it all for you.

Nice comfortable bed. Enough toilets and showers, however the shower rooms were quite small and the floors were very wet, hard to dry off and get dressed. Great location.

My third time staying here. The last time I had a double room which was really nice but this time I was given a different room for the same price but smaller, shabbier and a lot noisier. Staff were limited but pleasant when they were there. Security very poor. On the plus side the location is fantastic and the free off-street parking a real bonus (very rare in central Queenstown) which is probably why I chose to come back.

It's old,dirty, smells and pretty weird. Staff change the sheets but don't clean the room. Same for the kitchen. The main dining tables are constantly sticky. My partners sheets smelt of stale cigarettes and urine. Showers are pretty gross too. Just a little bit of TLC and would be massivley improved. Its cheap and ultimately fine but they could afford a cleaner...
