Welcome to Hôtel Belle Meuniere; our attractive hostel is situated in the heart of the city, is the ideal place for your stay in Nice at affordable rates.
Walking distance to everything, just 2 minutes from the central train station, 10 minutes from the beach and to the old town, the Belle Meuniere is the perfect location and a popular choice.
Also, if you come by car you will have the convenience and security to park directly in the private courtyard of the Hostel.
The friendly English speaking staff will welcome you to his charming historical mansion, touting a great tree-studded garden decked out with tables and chairs for guests to lounge on and to enjoy the famous Belle Meuniere continental breakfast.
The Hostel which is set back from the road, offers 17 clean and comfortable rooms overlooking the trees. Each room has its own individual character, from private rooms to dormitory, offering cosy accommodation to suit every budget. You have a choice of double, triple and quadruple rooms with or without private bathrooms.
Because of the uniqueness of this establishment, the relaxed atmosphere and facilities, the Hotel attracts various clientele from backpackers to families to business people.
The hotel has been managed by the same friendly family since 1984 and has built a reputation that has been highly recommended by many different travel guides year upon year. The renowned hospitality is very much appreciated by international travellers for many years.

One reception staff could have been friendlier and a bit on the pricier end (during peak season) but otherwise the cleaning staff were really nice, the location is great because it’s right next to the station. Unfortunately, there isn’t an atmosphere so unless you get on with you’re room mates, it would be slightly difficult to meet other travellers as a solo traveller. Beds are a bit creaky and there are no curtains so it may not feel like you have privacy while you sleep.

Not a bad hostel by any means. They don't really have a common area except for a small dining area which nobody really uses much. Rooms are cleaned daily, bathrooms are pretty good. The lockers in our room didn't work but wasn't too much of a problem since it's a fairly safe area. There was some construction that woke us up a few days but not sure if that was connected to the hostel or not. Would have been nice to have some more space in the rooms to store our luggage.

Really liked this hostel! I’d even say it gave more of a hotel vibe which was perfect for us but means if you’re looking for a social place as a solo traveler this probably isn’t the best fit. Good location. No kitchen as such but there is a microwave and utensils which suited us fine.
