Chirris is located in a remodeled house in the center of San Juan la Laguna, a magical town in the lake of Atitlan basin. This property is an open concept, with common areas, a shared kitchen, a patio where it can be used as a co-working, a living area.
Chirris is located in the center of the town, so you can easily move anywhere. The property is located a few meters from the street of the pier, the church, the local market and close to many craft shops. Near the village is the look of Xekaqasiiwaan and Las Cristalinas beach, and the mountain of the Mayan face.
Chirris Hostel is part of a collective project called Casa Kamoon. It is a cozy space located in a remodeled house where local design, local architectural process and modernity are mixed.

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Really nice place, comfy beds, lovely staff always smiling, warm, soft lighting in the lobby, everything is clean. Wifi works great. Only problem was that the arrival process was a bit confusing... I felt I had to ask a couple of times before any movement was made on my check in, but in the end it was all great.

Really nice little hostel. There’s a few private rooms and a couple dorms. It’s not big but it is a really nice place to stay. There’s a great kitchen too and it has everything you could need. The owner was extremely helpful figuring out what to do in San Juan, how to take the bus out of the town, and any other questions we had. She really genuinely cared and wanted the best for us. Would definitely stay again if we had the chance.

Best hostel during my stay in Guatemala. Highly recommend staying here. Staff are very friendly and helpful, the beds are very comfortable, facilities are clean and the location is great.
