Hostel La Smala is located in a really lovely, quiet street in the Medina, close to pretty much everything by walking. They gave great recommendations for a local surf shop to rent a board, and the room was clean. The beds in the shared rooms are built into the wall, so no natural light in the morning. The shower was quite small (but always bathrooms available), and the door to our room didn't close (let alone lock), and the locker under my bed also didn't lock. Felt safe, but not ideal.

Beautiful hostel in a great location. The sunset from the rooftop terrace was one of the best I’ve ever seen! The rooms were great too with comfy beds. We enjoyed our stay :)

A wonderful hostel with a splendid view from the terrace, amazing staff, really good breakfast. The decor is fantastic, on all levels and the tadelakht in combination with the showertiles is my architectural favouritepiece.
