Ijen Backpacker is a family run hostel located in Ketapang, Banyuwangi regency, just a 2-minute walk from the Train Station and a 4-minute walk from the Ferry Port. Ijen Backpacker attracts domestic and foreign tourists and is a great place to meet new friends, relax and join us in climbing to Mount Ijen Crater.
We offer affordable dorm beds and private rooms as well as excellent value backpacker package tours to the beautiful Mount Ijen. We provide complimentary drinking water, tea, and coffee. We can also help you book transport to your next destination.

Excellent location just 3 minutes away from the train station. The hostel is run by good-hearted people who are more than happy to give you tips about Indonesia and help you with anything you might need. They helped me book a last minute ferry and even drove me to the harbour at 5am. I mean seriously, these guys are amazing and I cannot thank them enough. They also offer excellent tours to Mt Ijen for only 300k, including transfer both ways, mask & headlamp rental and a guide. 10/10

The staff is extremely helpful and nice. You can take very cheap tour to Ijen with then.
