Popis hostelu
Kapai Hostel has a very good location, near the bus station, and the city center. This is a very nice place, with a fun design, confortable beds 'capsule' style which gives you a lot of privacy. We have a vast experience in the hospitality sector and a great knowledge about the city, elements that we capitalize to birng the best possible experience to our guests and travellers.
The hostel is located along the beautiful Calle Calle river, running through the heart of the city. Near to our facilities you can reach some of the finest attractions such as Costanera Arturo Prat, Museo Naval and Torreon de los Canelos. In addition, popular cultural landmarks and other tourist destinations are within a 10 minute walk, as well as easy access to bus routes.
We have several types of rooms, both dorms with several capacities and private accommodation options in order to suit and fulfill the needs and wishes of our travellers and guests. In addition, we have several common areas where the guests and travellers can get together and exchange past experiences and future plans.

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights and were really disappointed. We’ve stayed in a lot of affordable hostels in Chile, and they’re usually great, but this was a bad experience. There are 2 kitchens, one without an oven and one with a broken one, out of the 5 refrigerators, only one worked. Various stove burners would turn off during use or wouldn’t light at all. Layout is disjointed and dimly lit. Rooms and bathrooms were clean but very bare bones. Hostelworld says there’s luggage storage but it’s for

Had some issues with hot water, but the beds were fine. Not bad.

Pod beds were nice. Close to bus stop and river path, a bit removed from food/bars/stores but walkable. Atmosphere was a bit odd, but this maybe is more because those choosing to visit Valdivia seemed more local and introverts crowd, then the hostel itself. Had potential for social but was not happening during my stay. Laundry is paid service by staff only, with minimum. Standard but a bit confusing the way is listed on booking.
