Site 61 was a nice time:) Cass at reception was the best and so helpful! It was cool to stay in a historic house that survived Hurricane Katrina (you can even see the waterline on the wood). The location is not safe to walk outside around at night and it’s not located in a very fun/cool area. As a solo female traveler, I ended up ubering most places, especially at night. I loved the back patio and the tall ceilings of the old house!

I really advice this hostel. I had a great experience thanks to the owner and the guys/girls met there! The room are comfortable and clean.
The hostel inside is really nice and we’ll organized, you’re gonna love it’s world’s map!

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel. To be fully transparent, I don’t typically stay in the room, other than to sleep, anywhere while I’m out of town just because I like to make the most of my time. But the hostel was very clean, the staff was kind and attentive & I have zero complaints. I would recommend.
