This is the best location in the whole Zonte town, best panoramic views, LITTLE restaurant with cheap meals from $2.5 to $8, lots of hammocks and beach chair. Yoga decks and everything you need for the sport of surfing .
Space under a beautiful palm roof, the sound of the waves crashing very close and the ocean breeze will make you rest when visiting . El Zonte, an ideal place for the budget backpacker.
We can provide transportation services to the airport and anywhere else in the country, experienced tour guides, room services are provided upon request.
Surfing lessons, ecological and cultural excursions, airport pick-up and drop-off available.

Cancellation Policy: 3 days before arrival.In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Punta El Zonte has to have the best location (literally on the point break) in El Zonte.. it’s the perfect combination of rustic but clean and with plenty of comfortable spots to hang out. The owner is a great guy and all the staff were super friendly and accommodating. I miss this place already and honestly don’t know why you’d stay anywhere else in El Zonte. :)

The place is roughly built, but shows love in every step of the process. You couldn't ask for a better location, right in front of the wave. The value is good relative to other accomodations in El Zonte, and the owner and staff are full of heart.
There is a family vibe to the place that can't be reproduced on a larger level. It's the perfect place to stay longer term.
The 3 bungalows above the ocean are breathtaking, and for the budget traveler the dorms were full of brilliant and diverse crowd of respectful people.
Would recommend every time.

I booked this hostel online through hostelworld.The booking was confirmed and when I arrived at the hostel after the long day of travel,they said they don’t have a space.The owner tried to blame me for booking last minute but instead the booking was made in the morning.Unsure why they advertise the rooms but it’s a normal thing for them.He gave me the option to stay outside in hammock and that’s where I ended up.There are no facilities,no cleanliness standard.Save your money and time.Stay away!
