Hostel Guanajuato is a 2 storey property located in the tourist area of Guanajuato and close from the nightlife of the city. On the 1st floor we have 1 private bedroom, 1 full restroom and the common areas that includes a full equipped kitchen and a cozy living room. On the 2nd floor we have a small terrace at the entrance of the dorm rooms (mixed dormitory room) with 1 full restroom next door. WE ARE PET FRIENDLY!!!!!

No atmosphere, nowhere to hangout really - the small terrace was being repaired while I was there. There's a beautiful roof terrace above, but it was full of dog s***.
No lockers in the bedrooms.
The hostal owners aren't really there a lot - I had to just leave my key somewhere when I was checking out.
The good things are: location + hot water

Staff was very nice, great location, safe. I was the only one there though so I didn't get to meet anyone. There are no lockers. In the shared bedroom there are 2 night stands with a top and bottom drawer. It's got a large bathroom with enough space for you to move around and change in. I did see one small cockroach at 3 am in the bathroom but I guess that kind of comes with the territory since the city is so old. Access to water, fruit, toast, and coffee/tea.
