Urban Hostel is set in the heart of Santa Catalina, a popular spot in Palma de Mallorca. Set near bars, restaurants, sightseeing spots and small shops, Urban Hostel invites you to spend an unforgettable time on the most beautiful island of the Mediterranean.
Rooms and common areas have air conditioning and there's free WiFi access. All bedrooms are mixed gender and feature lockers; bathrooms have 2 showers and are shared (divided for men and women, please respect the symbols at the door), furthermore there are separate toilets. Bed linen (free) and towels (upon charge) will be handed over at reception. The hostel offers an educational project called 'Mallorca experience'.
Guests have access to lockers and locks and towels are available for hire and require a deposit.

Do not go to this hostel. It is far from the center and the staff is horrible. I arrived there at 16.30 and it was closed and after a long knocking on the door a lazy lady appeard. She charged me 10 EUR for the annual membership of Hostel International. They have this information in hidden text, right in the last line of home rules. Almost impossible to find it. And there is no peaceful time in that hostel, the employee had his own party. The breakfast never starts at 9.00 A.M..

- we booked a 2beds in a shared-5-bed-room
- Stuff (a woman) was really annoyed and rude to international tourists (like us) but was really nice and friendly to those who can speak spanish -.-
- we checked-in and she said we "had booked a room with a shared 8-bed-room" and "that they don't have a 5-bed-room". But this was not true! even when we booked on "hostel world.com" their original website provide this!
- bed was dusty and dirty
- shared bathroom and toilet has mold
