Featuring a bar and Bali huts adjoining a large semi-shaded pool, great Sundeck, a huge kitchen indoor-outdoor kitchen and dining area, the Youth Shack has everything required to make your stay comfortable while in Darwin. Get your tan on atop the first floor rooftop sundeck after a day out adventuring or night out partying. Soak in the pool, relax on the sunbeds and catch up on that book you've been meaning to read or just have a few cool drinks in the bar making new friends or hanging out with old ones.

Our staff are available to assist with tour and employment inquiries, and make you feel at home.

Good hostel in the centre of Darwin. It’s a party hostel so can get a little loud and messy, but generally had a good time there.

Best hostel there currently is in Darwin, clean rooms with privacy curtains, 4 bed rooms are pretty small but good kitchen and common areas. 10x better than other available accommodation

Private room was good size and clean. Complete lack of power outlets and the wifi did not reach the room, nor did it work in the common areas. Biggest minus was the staff and facilities. In the description it says they have luggage storage available, so we assumed we would be able to store our bags when going on an overnight trip to Kakadu. To make sure this was the case we even emailed the hostel in advance, but got no reply. Upon arrival we were informed that the luggage storage was for 24h only, so we ha
