Los Amigos hostel was founded in 2004 as an artistic fusion of the many influences of our travels with the most authentic aspects of our beloved Guatemala.

This place is awesome, with one massive drawback. Unless you have a bathroom in your private room or dorm, the nearest toilets are IN the restaurant. If you go to the loo or to use the showers late at night, you have to do so in full view of the restaurant attendees. Doesn’t feel like there’s any privacy, and actually feels quite exposing, let alone the fact that it feels like a pilgrimage. This was a massive drawback in the layout of what was otherwise an amazing place. If you go, I highly recommend gettin

nice location, nice staff, lights turn off around 11, only 3 showers for the people in dorms to use & they dont have towels which was annoying but overall a good place to stay.
