Come and stay in the centre of Christchurch in our beautifully renovated loft style building, Urbanz. It's an easy walk to all city sights including Cardboard Cathedral, Tram, historic New Regent Street, Avon River, entertainment venues and the best bars and restaurants.

Me and my girlfriend spent there 2 nights. The staff was really very helpful with everything and very friendly. The kitchen was big and well equiped. Despite it was cleaned a lot by staff, the guests were little messy and did not clean properly after themselves. We also missed a little freezer and we would welcome bigger pillows and window in our room. Nevertheless, the location was just perfect for us and we enjoyed our stay over all.

Great location, busy atmosphere, good for solo travellers. Men’s toilets spotless however female toilets not very tidy/clean (possibly due to guests there at the time). Hand tissue bin was always full and overflowing. Saw kitchen cleaned every morning which was good, could be more work tops for cooking as the kitchen gets very busy in the evening. Free parking info very misleading. Four spaces max outside the front of the property that are free and maximum only three days, then car park next door is $5 for

Generally a good place to stay. Has all the facilities you would need and the location is fairly good. I did feel safe there but there was an incident with a person from the street coming in and stealing lots of food. Considering there’s hundreds of people staying there, it’s puzzling as to where everyone is in the evenings as the atmosphere is pretty much dead.
