Corral d Comedias Hostel is located in the heart of the city, near to all the interesting spots of Guanajuato. Our hostel offers comfortable dorms with individual lockers, showers, amazing common areas and equipped kitchen for our guests to enjoy. We offer a delicious breakfast every day. Wi-Fi services available, books and board games are offered for free to our guests too. Our staff will be pleased to help anytime, always keeping a chilled, relaxed environment for you to feel at home. We already have pets (cat and dog) that are really friendly with our guests.
Corral d Comedias Hostel is located only 40 meters away from one of the main plazas in town: Plaza Baratillo, and only 2 min walking from the amazing Theatre Juarez, the main hot spot in town. Walking down the street, our guests can find a great variety of restaurants, museums, theatres, historical buildings, plazas and bars.
Our dorms have comfortable bunk beds with individual lockers underneath for our guests to keep their belongings. We also provide them with clean sheets, cosy pillows and warm blankets to guarantee a good night sleep.

Sorry but this whole hostel smelled like cat p***, especially the showers (because they have 2 cats living there). The floors were super dirty, dead cockroaches everywhere, really small hostel, but the smell was so awful. My bed was also full of cat hairs

Cons: This place is only run by volunteers. They are not friendly, and most of them are not even from Mexico. They hang out with themselves and don't invite people that are not from the same country as they are (presumably UK). I think the volunteers should be more inclusive about welcoming people from other countries. There are also no social activities in the hostel like pub crawl.
Pros: The hostel has nice setting and cool decor.

Had a great time at corral d comedias :) lovely staff and cute place with a good atmosphere. Super laid back and fun, great for solo travellers. The only single complaint I have is the bathroom situation, but it was definitely manageable. More toilets would make this place 10/10
