Chaska Wasi was opened on October 20, 2002 . and since then we have grown with you. Chaska Wasi always felt more like home and you can feel it when you get over here!!

'House with stars ' so the hostel does not lose its name, it is always important to look at the stars .so now we have spectacular views of the stars.
When you get to Ollantaytambo you can walk through these narrow streets, all built with stones and have next to water channels , which were built in the Inca era.
There are also hikes of 1, 2, 4 and 6 hours. quarries, Inca bridge, Intipunku , Pumamarka and native communities ( Willoc , Yanamayo Patacancha ) in general you can ask us how to find this places.

This was a great hostel for a night in Ollantaytambo. It was a 15 minute walk from the train station, and a 10 minute walk from the start of the ruins. It's very colorful & bright, and has a rooftop with an awesome 360 view of the mountains. We had trouble getting hot water in the shower, but the host let us know that it's a challenge for the entire town of Ollantaytambo. The host has very cute and friendly pets that we loved, but keep that in mind if you have allergies!

It is a nice hostel & the owner is very kind. It is in a good location with comfortable beds, a clean bathroom & a cute little shop where the owner makes her own 100% alpaca clothing. But I wish I knew beforehand that she has at least 2 cats, & even in the room my allergies were acting up & I wasn’t able to open a window because of the wind & being street level. It also smelled VERY strong of cat pee throughout the house which I did not appreciate. It would have been perfect otherwise.
