SANA el Jardin Secreto is a tropical garden retreat just outside the city center of Sanaitago, at the Tamboril exit of the Circumnavigation Norte

We have a 3 bedroom house that can sleep 10, fully equipped kitchen/2 bathrooms/solar hot water/AC/fans/TV/radio/free wifi/laundry room/BarBq/fugon/pool/Basketball/volleyball. Plenty of free parking.

We also have 4 private rooms: Aliyah, Abbigail, Alicia and Emily. Each has a private entrance/private Bathrroom/shower/solar hot water/AC/fan/TV/radio/mini fridge/free wi fi/access to a Emily's communal kitchen OR have Noemi cook for you. Meal delivery is also available.

The hostel, we call Maricucha has 2 large rooms (male and female) eacn can sleep 15 people/ with private entrance/private bathroom/.dhower/solar hot water/AC/TV/fans and access to Emily's kitchen OR have Noemi cook for you.

Beautiful gardens with hammocks/basdetball/volleyball.pool/BarBQ/fugon
SANCOCHO is the specialty of the house. .Dominican stew cooked over an open fire! Delicious

Very difficult to access. The property is located behind a metal gate, in the middle of a suburban area. To get in, you have to call a number, and hopefully get someone to respond. Very difficult getting in. Virtually everything in the room was broken -- the toilet, the fan, faucets on the sink, the exterior door. Staff was busy apparently dealing with a wedding party. No hostel environment. Just an uncared-for motel and wedding center.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Staff are incredible. Location is safe and convenient. HIGHLLY recommend. Will stay again

This was my first visit to Dominican Republic and first experience immersing myself in a spanish speaking culture, where my primary exposure had been reading and writing only. This place did not suit my purposes I was seeking a hostel closer to the urban center and communication with a host that spoke english. I was relatively isolated in the very pleasant garden property that gave the impression of an escape to country living. There was no english speaking hostess when I was there, but the driver spoke eng
