Our hostel Kona Tau is located in the centre of Easter Island, and only a few minutes away from the beaches and airport. It is the perfect combination of nature, cultural attractions and diversion.

We provide our customers with excellent, clean bedrooms and a friendly reception.

Friendly and welcoming hosts. Free airport shuttle and they also offer guided tours of the main spots of interest on the island (due to new regulations, it is a requirement to be accompanied by a local guide to access most spots on the island). Having a guide that can leave right from your hostel with you is convenient for your sightseeing! Recommend.

I had the most amazing stay here, Nicole and her family run the hostel and really provide an amazing service. You get an authentic feel here, one that you wouldn’t get in a hotel. You live close to the family who do absolutely everything to make you feel welcome and show you the island. A hidden perk is that they will act as guides to any of the Moai sites you wish to visit, at such a great price! The location is also brilliant, 5 minute walk to town. Cannot recommend this hostel enough #FamiliaKonaTau
