General Group Booking Terms
By making a group reservation through Hostelworld.com you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by Hostelworld.com and as set by the hostel in question.
- In order to make a group reservation on Hostelworld.com it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
- The booking deposit is non-refundable.
- Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
- Hostelworld.com are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
- Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
- It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
- Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.
Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions
The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card 4 weeks prior to arrival. Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.
Cancellation / No Show & Reduction in Numbers Policy
Group Bookings are always to be paid in advance.
50% of the total amount is required to confirm the reservation. The balance will be paid 4 weeks before arrival. The booking can be cancelled or modified free of charge at least 3 weeks before arrival. If cancelled later, charges will be applied by hostel up to full cost of reservation. In case of no show hostel will charge cancellation fee of whole reservation and your reservation will be cancelled.
The following group types are not accepted by this hostel: Business Trip If you have misrepresented the type of group you are booking for, your booking may be cancelled by the hostel."
Any cancellations resulting from agreement to these terms and conditions under false pretences will result in loss of deposit.

Reception is open 24/7, and our knowledgeable receptionists are always around to offer great advice or simply have a chat.
Each night, after our delicious FREE family-style dinner, we gather everyone together to play drinking games, before our staff take you out to enjoy Budapest’s best parties and famous Ruin Bars.
Our hostel is one of the oldest buildings in the city, with high ceilings and huge rooms. Each dorm has spacious lockers, and well-built bunks. Our location is absolutely unbeatable - you can’t get more central than this!
We have a variety of different mixed dorms, a female-only dorm as well as a twin and double-private room. Our common areas include our large, beautiful kitchen and our comfy lounge-room with a view!
From 1st May - 31st October every year, we have an age limit of 18 - 39 years old. If you are outside of this age range upon arrival to the hostel, we have the right to cancel your booking without refund of your deposit, as well as charging the applicable cancellation fee.
There’s no curfew, all we ask is that you respect your fellow guests during your stay.
For FREE we offer: city maps, WiFi, family-style dinners, computers, luggage storage, a ready-made bed, 24/7 reception, tourist information, lockers, tea & coffee, hairdryers and an iron
For a small price we offer: towel & padlock rental (600 HUF / 2 EUR each), padlocks for sale (1500 HUF / 5 EUR), and laundry service (2000 HUF / 6.5 EUR)

Co si poznačit
On your day of check-in, you can arrive anytime from 6am. On your day of check-out, you can remain at the hostel until 11pm. Luggage storage is available during this time. If you wish to stay on the premises outside of these hours, without a reservation for the appropriate night, you must contact us in advance to make arrangements.
During the winter months (November - April), we cannot accept payments between 12am - 8am.
City Tax is not included. This is an additional 4%, and will be added to your reservation upon arrival.
Breakfast is not included. Our hostel does not provide a breakfast service.
Unfortunately we DO NOT have air-conditioning in the rooms. This is fairly common in Central/Eastern Europe, and of course we have fans available.
This is a non-smoking hostel, which means you must exit the building to smoke.

*** Group Policy - NO GROUPS larger than 8 persons from MAY till OCTOBER: ***
We are ideally suited to solo travellers or small groups who wish to mingle and meet people. Therefore, WE DO NOT accept bookings of groups larger than 8 people in high season (period starting from 1st May till 31st October - every year). If you choose to make a booking for your group within this period, we reserve the right to cancel your booking without a refund of your deposit. This policy also applies to multiple bookings under different names for the same group. If you arrive at the hostel in violation of our group policy, we have the right to cancel your booking on the spot without refund of your deposit, as well as charging the applicable cancellation fee.
NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKINGS: These reservations are cheaper than a standard booking. However as the name suggests, this booking type is not refundable. Under no circumstances will you be eligible for a refund; including for cancellation, modification or no-show of your booking.
After booking, we will pre-charge your card for the entire amount of your reservation. This means you won't have anything to pay upon arrival.
If we cannot charge your card, you must provide new card details. This must be within 24 hours for reservations arriving within 5 days, or 48 hours for reservations arriving later than 5 days. After this time, if you do not provide new card details or we cannot pre-charge you in full, your booking will be cancelled.
STANDARD BOOKINGS: This property has a 2 full day cancellation policy (e.g. if your check-in is on Friday, the last day for a free cancellation is Tuesday). Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge, equal to the first night of your stay.
All cancellations must be made by email. Late cancellations and no-shows shall be charged the equivalent of the first night of your stay.
For Non-Refundable bookings, the name of the cardholder MUST match with one of the guests on your booking. If your booking is only for 1 person, it must be the same name on both the card and the reservation. If there are different names, or the cardholder will not be coming to our hostel, you must provide us with new card details within 24 hours. If not, your booking will be cancelled.
Special dates with 2 NIGHTS late cancellation penalty (or in case of no-show):
EASTER 30/03/18 to 03/04/18, SZIGET 04/08/2018 to 19/08/2018, HALLOWEEN 26/10/2018 to 04/11/2018
A different policy applies to confirm bookings over 300€ (or equivalent).
To confirm your booking, you will need to provide 30% of the total amount in advance. Payment can be through credit card or we can give you our bank details for direct debit. Your booking will be confirmed once payment is received.
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY FOR NYE 2018/2019:
Bookings that include the nights 29/12/18, 30/12/18, 31/12/18, 01/01/19, require a 3-night minimum stay.
We will cancel bookings made for one or 2 nights only. We will pre-charge the client's credit card for the entire amount of reservation. If the reservation cannot be pre-charged in full, it cannot be guaranteed by the hostel and will be cancelled. Standard bookings for these dates can be cancelled or modified free of charge, at least 20 days before arrival. If cancelled later, charges will be applied by hostel up to the full cost of the reservation. In case of no show, the hostel will charge the full cost of the booking, and your reservation will be cancelled.
