7 minute walk from Parque de Santa Catalina, where you can take buses all over the island and the city.

LUA-LUA is about 25 Km from the airport of Gran Canaria

By car: it takes about 25 minutes
When you leave the airport take the motorway GC-1 towards Las Palmas de GC. You will enter the city on Avenida de Canarias (better known as Avenida Maritima). Continue to take it up the ramp to Avenida Mesa y López. Keep up a roundabout opposite the Naval Base and turn left onto Juan Manuel González Durán. Follow this street until encountering Galicia street. Turn left and continue along (a few meters becomes Thomas Miller Street. Turn left again on Calle Fernando Guanarteme, then straight to number 27 which is LUA-LUA Youth Hostel.
It is not easy to find parking at Las Palmas unless you use paid parking.
You do not really need a car to know the city of Las Palmas. It is advisable if you want to explore the island of Gran Canaria.

By taxi: You can take a taxi from the airport. The cost is about 35 Euros.

By bus: Line 60 takes you directly from the airport to the Santa Catalina Park every hour. The price is about 3 Euros.
Parque de Santa Catalina is about 700 meters and it takes you about 7 minutes walk to LUA-LUA Youth Hostel. Head first Estévanez Nicholas Street and turn right towards the beach of Las Canteras. You will cross the street Fernando Guanarteme. Take it to the left and look for number 27.
